Marble

Marble is considered to have quite a high level of maintenance required to keep it in perfect condition. It is porous so it must be sealed every one to two years, and marble is especially vulnerable to acidic substances so it is essential this is done.
Granite
Granite is also a stunning natural stone that would look fantastic in your kitchen. Like marble it is porous and does require sealing, however, granite is also harder than marble which makes it more resistant to chips and scratches.
