About Quooker

Did you know that the Quooker boiling-water tap was the very first in the world? Since the Quooker boiling-water tap was invented in 1970, it has become an indispensable tool in kitchens all over the world.

Quooker is a family firm, founded on enthusiasm and entrepreneurship. Its inventions like the high-vacuum insulated tank, the all-in-one taps Quooker Fusion and Flex and the series of black boiling-water taps have brought about a revolution in the kitchen.

Sustainability

As climate change is upon us and showing no immediate signs of slowing down, we must consume less and make eco-friendly choices. Although it might feel like luxury to have filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling water on tap, a Quooker tap is a sustainable purchase. With a Quooker in the kitchen, you save water and energy and with a CUBE, you help to reduce the use of disposable plastic bottles.

When you dispense water from your Quooker tap, you use the exact amount of water you need. Unlike with a kettle, whereby people often boil more water than needed. Or, they decide to re-boil it because the water has cooled down, wasting lots of energy and affecting the taste of your hot drink.

Quooker’s patented vacuum tank allows for water to be kept at 110 degrees under pressure. This technology keeps the water hot without needing to use much energy. Think of it as an electrically powered flask, from which no energy can escape. The water only boils when it exits the tap – so it is not constantly boiling inside the vessel.

The COMBI reservoir has also been awarded Energy Label A. This reservoir not only supplies boiling water, but also hot water for washing up.

Why choose Quooker?

Quooker is currently the only hot water tap to dispense water at 100°C making the perfect cuppa

The cost of running a Quooker is around 3 pence per day, however each time you boil a kettle is costs around 12-18pence (if completely empty). PRO3 tanks take 8 minutes to reheat and PRO7 tanks take around 12 mins to re-heat.

Quooker can either be installed by a Quooker representee or a qualified plumber. Arranging your own installation will not affect your warranty.

When purchased with Chandler Stoneworks, Quooker taps take around 7 days to arrive to our showroom, with no delivery charge attached.
