Here at Chandler Stoneworks, we take great pride in the quality of service we offer to each and every client we work with.

One particular client, Emma – a business owner and mum of three who lives in Hove – was even so impressed with our work, that her stunningly redesigned kitchen was recently featured in an episode of Dream Kitchens & Bathrooms with Mark Millar on Channel 5.

Reaching the small screen

Setting out with a budget of £25,000 and having taken more than two years to obtain planning permission, Emma wanted to design a trendy black kitchen in her family living room, due to the existing being too small for her and her sons to operate in effectively.

Having drawn up her kitchen design, she then came to us seeking a bespoke granite worktop for her mobile kitchen island, wanting it to act as the centrepiece of the room and add a real sense of wow factor to her home. And boy did we deliver.

From vision to reality

Matching the black and gold tones from the rest of the kitchen’s design, she decided to go ahead with a stunning cosmic black granite worktop, taking extra time to pick out the precise natural gold streaks that she wanted it to feature.

As she says on the program herself: “It took quite a while but I got to choose the actual slabs and markings myself. It is absolutely stunning.”

Mark Millar agreed as well, stating that the worktop was “absolutely beautiful” and, thanks to its low resistance, would be “incredibly easy to maintain”.
